The tone generator is a fully chromatic through a built in speaker. This is a perfect tool for a vocalist or musician that likes to tune by ear.

The tuner offers two ways of capturing your instruments pitch. You can either use the on board microphone (great for acoustic instruments) or you can attach the clip on mic directly to your instrument. It even has a jack input for electrical instruments.
