Many have tried to recreate the sound of the legendary Celestion Blue guitar speaker with a high power rating. But only Celestion had the experience and know-how to meet this challenge and create a model with the sound and response of Alnico Blue in a more modern solution, ideal for both cabinets and combo.

What limited the maximum power output of the original Blue was the material used to create the voice coil. However, after hundreds of hours of testing and countless prototypes, Celestion has developed a new coil that can handle a lot of power without affecting tonal balance in the long run.

This relatively simple but very important decision is at the heart of creating a truly outstanding new guitar loudspeaker.
