Yamaha TRB1006J
The firstborn of the TRB series was the 6-string bass guitar, influenced by the synth music of the late 80's. This series has been designed for increased low frequency coverage (6th string - Low C) not available with traditional 4-string basses, and for advanced musicians, a high first string (High C) has been added to expand the possibilities for improvisation and expression.
The TRB bass has been extended to 35" spacing for excellent bass response and optimal tension on each string. Silent Alnico V humbuckers, coupled with high-tech active electronics and 3-band EQ, provide incredible tonal flexibility and clear, rich sound. Enlarged 35 "scale and 5-piece neck
The scale increased to 35" gives the musician a tight and bright bass note and an improved tactile feel. The maple neck is reinforced with two mahogany inlays to increase reliability and stability, and the TRB1006J has two truss rods that can withstand the tension of 6 bass strings.
Alder body with maple top
The TRB1006J body is crafted from solid selected alder with a laminated top made of high quality corrugated maple. This combination provides a very balanced, powerful sound with expressive mids and clear highs that is great for any genre of music.

The tailpiece is a very important element of any string instrument, influencing almost every aspect of it, from ease of play to sustain and tone coloration. The signature massive bridge on the TRB series bass guitars is cast from brass to provide highly efficient transmission of string vibration to the body of the instrument, and the clever design allows you to easily and accurately adjust the string pitch and scale distance.
