BS-7 is an extended range beast equipped with DiMarzio pickups, 24 frets and Floyd rose bridge, all packed with a double cutaway alder body. On top, there is a maple cap with see-thru black color and gloss finish. BS-7 also sports a neck-through construction. The bridge is a Floyd Rose 1000 series with a locking nut and black paint. In the pickup department DiMarzio Crunchlab 7 passive humbucker sits in the bridge and Liquifier 7 in the neck position. Controls are very simple and easily accessible, they consist of master volume and a three-position switch. The neck is made of maple, and it features a thin U contour.
