LTD built the LTD ZH-7 STBLKS (See Thru Black Satin) after receiving the rather impressive wish list of Whitechapel guitarist Zach Householder. This 7-string “metal” guitar was given a powerfully resonating body of full, warm-sounding mahogany. The neck-through-body construction adds noticeably longer sustain to the overall tone. Additionally, the maple top has a beautiful grain pattern that you can see shining through the transparent-black lacquer. The passive Dimarzio D Activator 7 humbuckers generate a powerful and particularly tight output. The deep seven-string tour de force of this ESP LTD guitar is sent to your amplifier clearly and with rich overtones. Additionally, the extra-large frets and slender neck allow for smooth solos and riffs, and the Tonepros locking bridge assures you an accurately tuneable guitar with great tuning stability.
