Cort Classic Series guitars are available in two different variations: traditional classic guitars made in Spanish style (AC series) and hybrid guitars of the CEC series, which combine the advantages of acoustic and classic guitars: thin and narrow neck, cutout for easy access to high frets, exclusive SFX shape housing and high quality electronics. These instruments are an excellent choice for live performances or for electric and acoustic guitar players.
Solid red cedar top
Cedar has a brighter, but "rounded" sound in comparison with spruce. In addition, cedar top instruments are more responsive, making them an excellent choice for musicians who prefer finger playing.
Improved deck linkage system
The improved fan-shaped linkage system of the top deck noticeably heightens the resonance and vibration of the nylon strings for a fuller, fuller sound.

The CEC series guitars have a slim body and are very comfortable to play. The cabinet depth is only 83mm - ideal for musicians looking for a convenient performance instrument.
Shortened scale
Slightly reduced, in comparison with traditional classics, the scale (643 mm) allowed to weaken the tension of the strings. This makes playing solos and technical arpeggios much easier.
