KeyStep Pro makes gigging easy and fun, with instant and intuitive access to inspiring performance features. Multi-mode arpeggiator, randomness, easy chord mode, and real-time recording for creating on the fly. The crisp OLED displays and LED-illuminated controls will help you see it all in the dark, too!
Sequencer
KeyStep has a sequencer and arpeggiator. You can record eight different sequences, each of which can contain up to 64 steps. The arpeggiator generates notes based on the keys you press and plays them according to the Arp mode setting.
Seq/Arp switch
If this switch is set to Seq, you can play or record sequences. Controls in this area select which sequence is currently active and the time step at which it will play. When the switch is set to Arp, the controls select the pattern and time step for the arpeggiator.
Seq/Arp modes
The function of the Seq/Arp Mode encoder changes depending on which mode is selected. In sequencer mode, it activates one of the eight available sequences. In arpeggiator mode, it selects which pattern will be used to play the notes held on the keyboard.

What’s new?
Sending Program Changes – You can now send Program Changes per pattern; Program Change settings can be accessed in Track settings, and KeyStep Pro’s LEDs will change to reflect the Program Change assignments you’ve made.
Transpose Latch – Configure KeyStep Pro’s Transpose button to toggle Transpose Mode on when pressed, so you can keep your hands free while transposing. This setting can be found in the Utility Misc settings.
Quick-access track settings – You can now quickly change track-specific settings like MIDI in/out, Fixed Velocity, and Program Change by pressing Shift & Track number. These settings are still accessible via the Utility menu.
Fixed Velocity – Determine a fixed velocity for pressed keys and triggered notes that can be controlled by the Velocity encoder. This per-track setting can be accessed in Track settings.
