EBS return to Los Angeles for Bass Player Live 2015

For the third year in a row, EBS will be present at the Annual Bass Player Live event at SIR Studios in Los Angeles. We look forward to meet bass players and introduce the new EBS Black Label Pedals Studio Edition, as well as the Reidmar 750 amplifier to the US market at the show!

What is Bass Player Live?

Bass Player Live is a yearly event, held by Bass Player Magazine at SIR Studios in the heart of Hollywood, Los Angeles. It’s a great opportunity for bass players to get together and meet with many representants of the leading brands within bass amplification, effects and bass guitars in a pleasant surrounding. It is also a great possibility to meet and learn from your favourite bass player heroes, since many top players visit the show.

Who will be there?

There will be several artist doing clinics and roundtable talks at the show, including EBS Artists Alex Al and Tal Wilkenfeld, as well as EBS pedal artist Sean Hurley. Other artists at the show include, Nathan East, Chuck Rainey, John Taylor, Andrew Gouche, Rickey Minor, Janek Gwizdala, Juan Alderete, Steve Bailey, Mike Merritt, Rhonda Smith, dUg Pinnick, Blasko, “Ready” Freddie Washington, Verdine White, Jerry Jemmott, Phil Chen among many many more.

What about the Award All-Star Show?

Every year, Bass Player honor a few selected bass players with an Award. Either for their Lifetime Achievement within the bass community, or for representing the future of bass (where we’ve seen EBS Artists Tal Wilkenfeld and Henrik Linder of Dirty Loops being honored over the past couple years). The Awards are given at an All-Star Concert, usually featuring the winners as well as an amazing line-up of musicians to pay tribute to the winners careers. At the 2015 show, awards will be given to Nathan East, Lemmy Kilmister and Louis Johnson (posthumously). Nathan East will perform with his All Star Band of musicians that he has played with over the years, Alex Al will put together a band to pay tribute to Louis Johnson, and an rock’n roll all star line-up will honor Lemmy Kilmisters long career with Motorhead. The Award Show will be held at the nearby Musicians Institute. More info about tickets etc at the link below.
