Using the Source Audio Tap Tempo Switch with One Series Pedals

After much discussion, we unanimously came to the conclusion that new Vertigo Tremolo must include tap tempo. In general effect pedals with a footprint as compact as the One Series, don't include features like tap tempo, but it was our goal with this line to provide maximum tone and flexibility in a minimum space - enter the Source Audio Tap Tempo Control (a.k.a. "Tappy").

The Tap Tempo is an inexpensive little accessory that allows users to easily sync their tremolo modulation with the rest of the band. Not only that, with the Speed knob it's possible to select from quarter note (one throb per tap), eighth note, triplet, and 16th note beat divisions (south of 9 o’clock on the SPEED knob will give you quarter note beat divisions, 9 to 12 o’clock gives you eighth notes, 12 to 3 gives you triplets, and 3 to 5 gives you 16th notes). The process couldn’t be simpler, just connect the Source Audio Tap Tempo to the 1/8” Control Input on the top of the pedal, dial in your tremolo sound, find your beat division, and start tapping.
