Norman (by Godin)

Norman guitars have been part of the Godin heritage from the very beginning. In fact, it was the first line of guitars that Robert Godin created in 1972. In his early 20s, Godin met Norman Boucher, a carpenter who made window frames and was about 60 years old at the time. They began making acoustic guitars under the Norman name, and the company faithfully continued production in the region, resisting the pressure of foreign manufacturers. Norman guitars became a hit in the province of Quebec, every player wanted to have one of these guitars, and many local artists used them.

Speaking of heritage, the Norman brand has always been and remains entirely made in Canada, from inception to finished product. Every time you play a Norman guitar, you can rest assured that it is made from the highest quality tone rock and components, and that it will continue to sound as great as the day you first played it. Norman guitars are made by hard-working Canadian guitar makers who are truly dedicated to the craft of guitar making. From their humble beginnings to their relentless pursuit of excellence and discovery of new possibilities in design and playability, Norman is still the number one Canadian brand for players around the world.
