Eden

EDEN is an American company that specializes in producing bass amp amplifiers, cabinets, and effects pedals, currently owned by Marshall Amplification, headquartered in England. Eden Amplification (formerly known as Eden Electronics) is a bass guitar amp company founded in 1976. The name of the company comes from the city of Eden Prairie, 12 miles from Minneapolis, where the idea of creation was born. EDEN designs and manufactures high-quality, high-end bass amp systems that include bass guitar amplifiers, preamps, power end amplifiers, bass effect pedals, and amp cabinets. The most famous series are World Tour Amplifiers and D-series Cabinets. EDEN's reputation is primarily based on the fact that all development and assembly was carried out exclusively within the company, including speakers (which is very rare for most manufacturers).

In December 2011, EDEN became part of the Marshall Amplification, and therefore their headquarters moved from the United States to England, which allowed EDEN to receive distribution through the well-established global channels of Marshall. A lot of musicians use EDEN amplifiers, but most of all they are quoted by those who are called “player’s players”, among which there are many session musicians and technical recording artists, such as Mike Rutheford from Genesis, Phil Lesh from Grateful Dead and Mike Gordon from Phish. Users of EDEN equipment are performers of a wide selection of genres: from jazz and country to hard rock.
