Considering the special demands of acoustics huge rooms and studios, ADAM company has created a unique subwoofer Sub2100.
Huge 21-inch speaker and amplifier with a nominal power of 1000 W are located in the bass-reflex enclosure, which allows the subwoofer to reproduce frequencies from 20 Hz. Thanks to the incredible power and very high efficiency (99 dB / W / m), this speaker system is able to reach the level of the maximum sound pressure of 128 dB without noticeable compression.
The most important element for the creation of such a system is a huge volume voice coil diameter of 152 mm (the biggest coil in the world). In comparison to other subwoofers Sub2100 develops a much higher sound pressure level at the lowest frequencies available for the hearing. This is nothing like a new standard for subwoofers.
