Power: The MXR Six Band EQ is powered by one 9-volt battery (remove bottom plate to install), a 9-volt AC adapter such as the Dunlop ECB003/ECB003E, or a DC Brick™ power supply.
Controls:
- SLIDERS boost or attenuate up to ±18dB at six different frequency centers
- FOOTSWITCH toggles effect on/bypass (illuminated red slider LEDs indicate on)
Directions:
- Run a cable from your guitar to the Six Band EQ’s INPUT jack and run another cable from the Six Band EQ’s OUTPUT jack to your amplifier.
- Set all sliders to their 0dB position and depress the footswitch to turn the pedal on.
- Experiment with the Six Band EQ’s tone-shaping capabilities by moving the sliders up and down to boost and cut various frequencies to hear how this affects the sound of your signal.
