PC Telephone Interface Client is a client application for the PC Call Server and is used in combination with the PC Call Server. Running Microsoft Windows XP or Vista. The PC Telephone Interface Client must be used on the same PC that PC Call Server.

Interface VoIP

PC Telephone Interface Client acts as an interface between incoming VoIP calls and the Praesideo PC Call Server and allows you to make calls in real time to the Praesideo system using the phone, both the hardware and software. The traditional connection to the telephone network or PBX can be converted to VoIP via gateway call routing (recommended by Cisco Linksys SPA3102; not included in the scope of supply PRS-TIC).

Menu voice response

Menu voice response is used for feedback to the caller regarding possible settings. These settings include caller identification with access control and selection of a predefined call.

Preset call contains information about the priority and can include the signals start and end of the call, prerecorded messages, a set of zones or groups of zones and the ability to add a call to the ads in real time.

By the menu voice response the caller can add zones or zone groups to the set that is already defined in the predefined call and get suggestions on broadcast ads in real time. The announcement of the caller are recorded on PC and played back when the call has ended.
The caller can make consecutive calls without waiting for the broadcast of the previous call. Last call, along with the ad in real time, can be repeated without having to re-enter all the required information and ads.

Content menu voice response can be changed by replacing the sound files (gsm format). Thus you can adapt the menu voice response to various languages and to specific user requirements. In the supplied software for sound processing and envelopes file format gsm.

PC Call server

Since phone calls are handled by the application Praesideo PC Call Server, possible addressing for large systems with multiple network controllers. The settings of the PC Telephone Client is done with the PC Call Server. Here you can set user access rights, such as rights to perform certain predefined calls or to access some areas.

Direct access to making phone calls to the Praesideo system can be installed for users who are making the call from the VoIP interface.

Identification is carried out using the user name and password for the SIP account, so no additional identification through the menu voice response is not required and the calls can be made faster.
