PRS‑SWCS PC Call Server is a Windows service connected to one or more Praesideo network controllers via TCP/IP, using the Praesideo open interface. It is used in combination with one or more client applications, e.g. PC Call Station Client and the PC Telephone Interface Client that handle all operational requests.
PRS‑SWCS PC Call Server is configured using the supplied supplied with the PC Call Server Configuration Client, running on the same computer.
Setup and management:
PRS‑SWCS PC Call Server provides the connected clients with features such as identification, call, music source and volume control, acknowledgement, and reset of emergency modes, time synchronization and license management. Running the operating systems Windows XP and Vista.
Thanks to the PRS‑SWCS PC Call Server Configuration Client, you can monitor and configure the network controller. If there are several network controllers you can configure audio connections between them to enable calls from one network Praesideo to another.
Configuration data for each of the connected Praesideo systems can be obtained with network controllers and used to configure a PRS‑SWCS PC Call Server. You can configure several system views with the location of the zones and groups of zones, regardless of individual users and customers. You can also configure several predefined calls to different users, to which access can be obtained, for example, with one or more clients PRS‑CSC PC Call Station. These predefined calls may contain information about the priorities, zones, signals and messages ( including in real time). The zones can be part of different Praesideo systems connected to PRS‑SWCS PC Call Server.
PRS‑SWCS PC Call Server provides control over the music source and volume in the configured zones and provides feedback information about the actual volume.
PRS‑SWCS PC Call Server uses a USB security key for identification of the system in respect of all purchased licenses. A security key is supplied with the PRS‑SWCS PC Call Server. PRS‑SWCS PC Call Server comes with a license to use a single network controller.
Additional licenses for network controllers connected to the server PRS‑SWCS PC Call Server are available as license PRS-SWCSL PC Call Server NCO.
Applications such as the PRS‑CSC PC Call Station Client, also require a separate license. You need only one license, regardless of the number of connected clients (operators panels).
