Pearl Drums (Pearl Musical Instrument Company) is a Japanese company that manufactures musical instruments, mainly drums. It was founded on April 2, 1946. Currently, Pearl Drums' production in Taiwan includes five factories, whose products are supplied to the world market. The Tibi plant now serves the domestic Japanese market, producing a variety of drums, timpani and symphony bells.
Pearl MDT-764P is a portable drum set of the Midtown series (1614B, 1007T, 1312F, 1355S) designed for use on stage or even outdoors. It's ideal for gigging drummers, offering full-size capabilities in a compact package. It features the OptiLock toms suspension system, which is characterized by a triangular design with rubber pads that allow the drum to vibrate freely. The drums of the drum set have 6-ply bodies (body thickness: 7.5 mm) made of poplar and stamped rims (1.6 mm). The kit includes: snare drum 13" x 5.5", bass drum: 16" x 14", toms: 10" x 7", floor tom: 13" x 12", and a tom holder. The kit does not include cymbals, stands, stool, or pedals. The color of the drum shells is the same as the finish: Black Cherry Glitter.
