Selected Wood - Ukrainian hornbeam. For the production of this series drumsticks, the technologists selected the most dense parts of the wood. With the increase of density change and mechanical properties of wood: it increases strength. Wood drying takes place in several stages. During the drying process changes the physical and mechanical, technological and operational properties of wood. Turning is performed at specialized high-precision machines with program control.
Finishing (polishing and coating) of drumsticks perform in several stages. Sticks are impregnated by the unique G4 oil solution, developed by Star Sticks on the basis of solid wax. This provides additional protection for the products against moisture and ultraviolet rays. Also, this coating acts as an anti-slip.
