Soundcraft Si Expression 1 is a digital mixing console that combines over a decade of experience in digital audio with the latest signal processing technologies. As a result, the mixer offers unparalleled functionality and sound quality.
The Si Expression 1 features 16 microphone preamps, 4 line inputs, and a 64x64 expansion slot for increasing the number of inputs and outputs. Overall, this mixer can handle up to 66 channels. Each channel has individual signal processing, including a high-pass filter, delay, gate, compressor, and four-band equalizer. This allows for precise and controlled sound even in the most demanding situations.
The Soundcraft Si Expression 1 supports 14 auxiliary/group buses that can be configured for various needs, as well as 4 matrix buses. All of these buses are equipped with a compressor, BSS four-band equalizer, graphic equalizer, and delay, which are always available regardless of other settings. Four stereo Lexicon effect processors allow for the addition of various effects without impacting other functions of the mixer. Additionally, the Si Expression 1 has flexible connectivity and integration options with other system components through various ViSi Connect options, such as MADI, Dante, AVIOM, and more.
The mixer interface is intuitively designed with a color touch screen and a clear FaderGlow™ control system that illuminates faders in different colors depending on their function. This ensures ease of use even in low-light conditions.
