A personal monitoring console for Allen & Heath digital mixers that allows you to fine-tune any mix!

The 16-channel Allen & Heath ME-500 mixer is designed for the ME digital personal monitoring system. The device connects directly (Plug and Play) to Allen & Heath systems (dLive, GLD, Qu and Aviom A-Net 16), and through the ME-U hub can be used with consoles from other companies, such as Digico, Yamaha and Avid. A maximum of eight user presets (pan, mute, levels, key assignments) can be stored and recalled for mixes, shows, and users. Presets can be saved to a USB flash drive for use in other mixers. The panel has a display whose brightness can be adjusted, 16 backlit Select buttons, Solo and Mute buttons. There is also a level control, limiter, 2-way equalizer (output), encoder for control and navigation. Headphones are connected via mini-jack and 1/4-inch jacks, and the monitor speaker system is connected via a separate output. An unlimited number of ME-500s can be used within a single monitoring system. The EtherCon connectors provide daisy-chain connection of mixers, and the ME-U or a network switch (PoE support) provides star connection.
