Yamaha Rio3224-D2
The Yamaha Rio3224-D2 system expansion rack is a device that can be used in systems to expand the input and output channels of mixers. It has 32 analog inputs for connecting microphones or other analog sources with +48 V phantom power. There are also 16 analog outputs and 4 AES/EBU outputs (8 channels) for connecting a variety of devices.
Using the Dante network digital protocol, audio can be transmitted with low latency and low distortion up to 100 meters between devices using standard Ethernet cables. The Rio3224-D2 can be used as an I/O unit for a Dante network.
The device supports the AES67 standard for compatibility with various audio networks and provides connections using AES67. On the front panel, there is a display, an encoder with a switch, and buttons that allow you to control the internal amplifiers and parameters of the device.
In addition, internal errors and statuses of the device can be viewed on the display. XLR-3-32 connectors are used to connect output signals in AES/EBU format. Dual power supplies ensure continuous operation even in case of failure of one power supply.
The total weight of the device is 13.5 kg, and it has a 5U form factor, which makes it convenient to install in standard equipment racks.
