Featured with a built-in passive crossover with a 100 V transformer offering selectable power taps, which may be activated from below once the speaker installed.rn Enclosure design and mechanical appointments The IL 60-CTC is housed in a metal tub. The front cover is made of a white polymer with a metal grille insert. It is installed using clamping fixtures that are accessible from below. The IL 60-CTC weighs 1.7 kg. Its installation diameter is 18 cm and installation depth is 12.7 cm. Electrical and acoustical data The IL 60-CTC is loaded with a 6.5' woofer and a 1' tweeter with neodymium magnets. Aligned in coaxial array, both drivers are controlled via an internal passive crossover with a crossover frequency of 3 kHz. The IL 60-CTC’s power handling capacity is 40 watts RMS at 8 ohms impedance. It delivers 89 dB (1W/1m) SPL, measured under halfspace conditions. Maximum SPL measured under the same conditions at a distance of one meter is 106 dB at 10% THD. Frequency response ranges from 70 Hz to 20 kHz (± 3 dB). Consequently, the IL 60-CTC is able to provide audio reinforcement for speech and background music without requiring a subwoofer. The IL 60-CTC is equipped with a built-in 100 V transformer providing five power taps (1, 2, 4, 8, 15 W) that may be activated on demand.
