The FGN (Fujigen) BST-HSS-R/MBU electric guitar from the Boundary BST Series combines classic aesthetics with modern technical solutions. The instrument's body is made of basswood, providing a balanced tone with deep lows and pronounced mids. The neck is made of maple, and the fingerboard is made of rosewood.
The fingerboard features 22 medium frets with FGN's J-Standard fret edge treatment, ensuring comfort and smooth playability. The two-pivot FGN J-Standard FJTR-S2P tremolo system allows effective use of vibrato techniques without losing tuning stability.
The guitar is equipped with an H-S-S pickup configuration, including one humbucker and two vintage-style single coils, providing versatility — from clean, bright tones to dense and saturated overdrive. The FGN SG115-D07 tuners ensure tuning stability, and the chrome hardware gives the instrument a stylish appearance.
The guitar offers convenient controls: one volume knob, two tone knobs, and a 5-way pickup selector switch. The strings in the standard setup are D'Addario EXL120 (.009-.042).
