The double bass is the largest and lowest sounding string instrument in a modern symphony orchestra. As a solo instrument, it is used in chamber ensembles and quite widely in jazz. Hora pays special attention to the production of double basses. The Hora B120 (4/4) model is designed for teaching and features a spruce and maple body with beech top and neck.
