The GLE 80 is the next logical step in the development of the GLE series, with a slightly smaller footprint than the flagship GLE 90, but offers virtually identical performance with exceptional sound performance, superior dynamics and an attractive design. The new model utilizes state-of-the-art technology that is compactly packed into a narrow 19-centimeter front panel to deliver the unique Canton sound. Our titanium cones, now an integral part of the GLE series, significantly enhance the bass and midrange, delivering precise and clear sound reproduction.

Striving for the best possible sound means a lot of hard work and the use of the latest technology. Our visually and technically refreshed GLE speakers benefit from the progress we are constantly making in speaker design. Precise and powerful bass is the domain of two 174mm woofers that deliver tremendous depth in an optimally tuned bass reflex. Instead of the previous drivers with aluminum cones, bass specialists with highly stable titanium cones are now used: they can reproduce fast musical impulses even more accurately. In the current GLE series, we also use titanium drivers in the acoustically crucial midrange. With its large 174 mm midrange driver, the GLE 80 sounds incredibly agile and sparkles with the best dynamics, unrivaled resolution and unrivaled balance. As ideal partners, we use our sophisticated and proven aluminum-manganese tweeters with 25 mm diameter domes, which are equipped with sophisticated waveguides for perfect sound dispersion and coupling and, thanks to optimized crossovers, can reproduce frequencies up to 40,000 hertz. The outstanding technical equipment of the current GLE generation is further emphasized by the speaker enclosure with stable polycarbonate baskets, powerful magnetic drives and triple waveguide.

Modern and neutral in design, the slim 3-way GLE 80 will integrate seamlessly into any living environment. They are available in black and white, with black or white fabric covers that magnetically attach to the baffles. Their proportions - 100 cm high, 19 cm wide and 30 cm deep - make them ideal for any room, and their robust design with four integrated feet guarantees stability on any surface.
