The Tascam DR-10SG On-Camera Recorder combines a high-quality linear PCM recorder with a supercardioid cannonball microphone specifically designed for use with DSLR cameras. Compact, lightweight (only 110 g with battery) and extremely easy to use, the DR-10SG attaches directly to the camera's hot shoe without obstructing the viewfinder.

The integrated microphone has a directional pattern that allows you to focus precisely on the sound source while ignoring background noise, making it ideal for video, interviews, and location work. Thanks to the floating mounting mechanism and noise-absorbing boom, the recorder is effectively isolated from lens vibrations and noise.

The DR-10SG supports WAV and MP3 formats, including 24-bit mono and POLY mode, and the dual recording function creates a backup at a lower volume level - a true professional approach to avoiding clipping. The auto-gain, limiter, and EQ presets (for interviews, field recording, etc.) help you adapt the sound to a specific environment.

Synchronization with video is possible thanks to the built-in tone generator and the ability to send a signal back to the camera via the CAMERA OUT output. The device operates for up to 8.5 hours on a single AAA battery. Simple connectivity, user-friendly controls, and high quality are all you need for professional sound in the field.
