The Tascam Portacapture X6 is a state-of-the-art portable recorder with stunning sound quality, intuitive controls, and extensive professional audio recording capabilities. Thanks to its 2.4-inch touchscreen display with a mobile app-style interface, you can set the desired mode and start recording in no time. With just a few taps, your podcast, interview, music, or video audio is captured in uncompromising quality.

The recorder is equipped with two high-quality microphones with the ability to switch between A-B and true X-Y configurations. Two XLR connectors with phantom power are also provided, allowing the use of professional external microphones. With 96 kHz / 32-bit floating point recording technology, Portacapture X6 is able to capture every detail of sound even in the most challenging conditions - without clipping or overload.

The recorder supports six tracks of simultaneous recording (four separate tracks + two mixes), and can also work as a USB audio interface (6 inputs / 2 outputs) with a computer. The preset modes include Voice, Music, Field, ASMR, Podcast, and 6-track, each optimized for maximum convenience.

The Portacapture Control mobile app and Bluetooth adapter (sold separately) allow you to control the device remotely - ideal for recording in the field. And the built-in effects, including compressor, equalizer, filters, and reverb, allow you to create publisher-ready sound without additional processing.
