Camera recorder Zoom M3 MicTrak

The Zoom M3 MicTrak on-camera recorder is an innovative microphone with a built-in recorder that provides high-quality sound thanks to 32-bit floating-point recording technology. This device offers recording modes with angles of 90° for a clear stereo image and 120° for a wide stereo panorama, as well as the ability to save a backup RAW copy of the audio file in the Mid-Side format for further editing.

A special feature of the M3 MicTrak is the special Zoom damping mount, which reduces vibrations and mechanical noise. A built-in low-pass filter helps reduce unwanted background noise. The microphone easily mounts on a camera or holder, making it ideal for use during video recording.

The device has a 3.5 mm stereo line-out for connecting to a video camera and a 3.5 mm headphone output for real-time audio monitoring. Thanks to the M3's native Edit and Play software, users can edit the stereo pan and normalize recorded files for optimal results.

Recording is carried out on microSDXC memory cards up to 1 TB and microSDHC memory cards up to 32 GB. The M3 MicTrak has a USB Type-C connector, allowing you to use it as a USB microphone. The device runs on two AA batteries, providing up to 12 hours of continuous recording. Using the 1900 mAh NiMH rechargeable batteries, the operating time will be approximately 11 hours, and up to 21 hours using the lithium batteries. For even greater convenience, the M3 MicTrak supports USB bus power, allowing you to connect the device to an external power source such as a power bank or AC adapter (ZOOM AD-17: DC 5 V/1 A).

The M3 MicTrak package includes a shock mount, a windshield, a stereo cable for connecting to a DSLR camera, and an instruction manual.
