The Zoom M2 MicTrak recording microphone is the latest development of the Zoom company, which provides high-quality sound in a portable format. With a new X/Y stereo capsule design and 32-bit floating-point recording technology, the M2 MicTrak allows you to record sound without distortion or the need to adjust the gain level.
This microphone is suitable for both quiet conversations and loud sounds, ensuring studio-quality recording every time you use it. The housing design and special coating significantly reduce mechanical noise, which makes the M2 MicTrak ideal for recording interviews, musical performances, etc. The recorder has a normalization function that automatically adjusts the sound level, which simplifies the process of editing recordings.
The M2 MicTrak provides USB connectivity to PC, Mac, iOS, and Android, allowing you to use it as a USB microphone while simultaneously recording audio to a memory card.
The recorder provides excellent autonomy. The device is powered by two AA batteries, which provide up to 11 hours of continuous recording when using alkaline batteries. Operating time is approximately 10.5 hours using 1900 mAh NiMH rechargeable batteries, and up to 22 hours using lithium batteries.
The M2 MicTrak also supports USB power, allowing you to connect the device to an external power source such as a power bank or AC adapter (ZOOM AD-17: DC 5 V/1 A). This greatly expands the possibilities of using the microphone in various conditions, ensuring continuous operation during long recordings or broadcasts.
Included with the M2 MicTrak recorder are a WSU-3 windscreen, MCM-2 microphone holder, and manual.
