The Fender Limited Edition Custom Shop '53 Telecaster Relic (Cimarron Red) is the epitome of vintage style and uncompromising quality, created by the Fender Custom Shop luthiers for those who appreciate both classic and individuality. It's inspired by the original 1953 models, but built with modern technology and the finest materials.
The body is made of two parts of selected ash and covered with nitrocellulose lacquer in a deep Cimarron Red shade. The stylish Relic finish mimics natural wear and tear, creating the look of a guitar with a history that has been part of live performances for years. This finish adds not only aesthetics but also a special character to the instrument.
The neck is made of a single piece of 2A figured maple and features a massive '52 Style “U” profile, which is ideal for guitarists who prefer a confident feel in their hands. The 9.5” fingerboard radius combined with 21 Narrow Tall frets provide a comfortable playing experience and precision in every movement.
The sound of the guitar is defined by high-quality Custom Shop Hand-Wound Texas Special Tele pickups that reproduce the classic Telecaster tone with a bright attack, assertive mids, and expressive highs. Additionally, the Fat '50s Tele Wiring maintains a natural tone and harmonic balance. Controls include volume, tone, and a 3-way switch, giving you plenty of room to experiment with tone.
The vintage '51-'54 Tele bridge with brass saddles guarantees authentic dynamics, and the classic pegs provide a stable tone. The set includes a branded hard case, strap, and certificate of authenticity, emphasizing the instrument's status as a true collector's item.
