It gives a more accurate crisp sound, but also has a greater sensitivity to electromagnetic interference. Its signal level is lower than that of a humbucker. This type of pickup is equipped with two coils, and its strength is slightly more than double that of a single coil. The humbucker captures clear sound, but emphasizes it more when using effects.
