FujiGen is one of the most respected guitar manufacturers in Japan.  With 60 years of guitar manufacturing experience, FGN offers quality and craftsmanship in every instrument they produce.

All FGN guitars and basses are equipped with the unique Circle Fretting System (C.F.S.). It was created by them based on the idea of offering better pitch and articulation than conventional guitars. All the frets are mounted on the neck in a slightly curved shape, so that each string crosses all the frets at a 90 degree angle, i.e. provides minimum contact of a string with a fret, and this makes the length of each string bore equal, whereas with a regular straight fret it varies. The C.F.S. is a solution that provides clearer articulation and tonality, giving dimensionality when playing chords, and allows you to cut through the mix when playing individual notes.

The FGN also uses a compound radius fingerboard, which has a smaller (round) radius toward the top edge and a larger (flat) radius toward the fingerboard, i.e., similar to a cone shape. This makes it much easier to play chords on the bottom fret and less stressful, especially when bending the strings in the high registers.
