Guitars of “UNIVERSUM GUITARS “ELENA” product line are designed as sold bodies with a set neck. “ELENA” guitars product line is represented by the following electric guitar modifications: : “ALPHA” (α), “BETA” (β), “GAMMA” (γ), “DELTA” (δ), “OMEGA” (ω), “ALPHA acoustic” (α) and by electric bass guitar “EPSILON bass” (ε). Guitars of “UNIVERSUM GUITARS “ELENA” product line are the embodiment of the unique design and engineering solutions as well as the developments of a highly professional team of experts, working at musical instruments factory “UNIVERSUM VG” (city of Bila Tserkva, Ukraine). The aforementioned solutions and developments are based on a long-term guitar making experience of a famous master Vadim Gavrilenko and united by the only creative target – making the high-class professional instrument for the performers with the most exquisite requirements.

Guitars of “UNIVERSUM GUITARS “ELENA” product line are designed according to laws of harmony of the Universe – laws of golden proportions and pursuant to the unique methods. They are made of high-quality sounding timber of natural drying (over 5 years) using hightechnology equipment. Guitars are both hand assembled and made by highly skilled experts of the factory.

Solid body guitar acoustic sound generation system “Uniacoustic”

Certain guitar models of “UNIVERSUM GUITARS “ELENA” product line are equipped with acoustic sound generation system, the use of which enables to achieve the authentic sound of electric guitar. This system is designed and produced by “UNIVERSUM VG” experts. System consists of:

• input onlay of acoustic sound generation system
• shift valve of acoustic sound generation system
• acoustic sound genertation assembly with microphone pickup embeded into guitar body
• output unit onlay of acoustic sound generation assembly
• electronic module with operating controls located in the equalizer chamber under equalzer cover
• 9V D/C independent power supply located in power supply chamber
• output connector of guitar sound acoustic mode

For playing in acoustic sound mode it is necessary to connect the guitar through the output connector to the external power amplifier designed only for sound reinforcement of ACOUSTIC musical instruments (microphone pickups). Turning on the acoustic sound mode is performed by moving the system shift valve anticlockwise to the fixed limit position. The valve performs the function of protection device preventing from an accidental microphone pickup turn on in the other guitar operation modes.

System has two operation modes - acoustic (microphone pickup) and combined (microphone and electromagnetic pickups). Operation mode switching is performed using a three-position switch-mixer. IMPORTANT: IT IS FORBIDDEN to connect the guitar from the output connector of acoustic sound mode to the external guitar power amplifier (electromagnetic pickups). Correct system operation can be provided only by the external power amplifier designed for sound reinforcement of ACOUSTIC musical instruments (microphone pickups).

Autonomous monitoring system “Universum MS” (solid body electric guitar autonomous sound system)

Certain guitar models of “UNIVERSUM GUITARS “ELENA” product line are equipped with autonomous monitoring system “UNIVERSUM MS” (solid body electric guitar autonomous sound system). System is designed for sound reinforcement of the solid body electric guitar without connecting to the external amplifier. The volume of the reinforced sound at the system turned on is enough for performance to clearly hear the sound from electric guitar without connecting to the external amplifier. This is necessary for rehearsals and guitar setting under any conditions as well as for recording musical compositions as well as for playing with sound reinforcement from guitar monitoring system through external amplifying facilities using external microphones. The system consists of:

• electromagnetic pickups the electric guitar is completed with
• electronic module with operating control located in the equalizer chamber under equalizer
  cover
• acoustic horn system with portable dynamic loudspeaker and two acoustic horn outputs. Output from the front part of the loudspeaker is located in the frame of bridge pickup, output from the rear part of the loudspeaker is covered with onlay
• on/off system switch
• 9V D/C independent power supply located in power supply chamber

Guitar sound at autonomous monotoring system operation can slightly change when switching a three-position switch-selector which switches the combinations of electromagnetic pickup communtation.

Battery power supply

Correct operation of the electric guitar is provided by 9V D/C battery (batteries) power supply. Batteries can be of 6LR61 or 6F22 type (DC9V, S-006P) or similar. IMPORTANT: IT IS FORBIDDEN to use any external power sources.
