THE WARRANTY COVERS

According to the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine “About the the groups of technically difficult household goods which are the subject of warranty repair (service) or warranty replacement, for the purpose of application of registrars of settlement operations” № 231 from March 16, 2017:

  • Microphones and stands for them; loudspeakers, whether or not mounted in the housing; headsets and headphones, whether or not connected to a microphone, and sets consisting of a microphone and one or more loudspeakers; electric sound frequency amplifiers; electric sound amplification sets;
  • Musical Instruments; their parts and accessories;

The seller (manufacturer) is responsible for the defects of the goods, unless they arise as a result of buyer violation rules of use or storage goods, actions of third parties, accident or force majeure. The warranty document may specify cases that are not covered by the warranty (eg, mechanical damage, violation of the rules of use). It is necessary to remember that such rules of use or storage should be known to the buyer. They are usually indicated in the accompanying documents.

If you find a defect within the warranty period, you should immediately contact the seller to eliminate it. In the case of products for which the warranty period or expiration date has not been established, the consumer has the right to make appropriate claims to the seller if the defects have been identified within two years from the date of purchase (receipt) of the goods. According to the law, the buyer has the right to claim for the improper quality of the goods to both the manufacturer and the seller.

To use the right on warranty service, the consumer must have documents confirming the purchase of goods and warranty on it. The warranty period is indicated in the product passport, on the label or in any other document attached to the product. Usually many products are accompanied by warranty cards. This card indicates the date of purchase, product (code, article, etc.), information about the manufacturer (seller) and other information. Only this card and check of purchase is the basis on which warranty service can be performed, so keep them, as well as packaging and accompanying documents until the end of the warranty period.

Please note that the warranty applies to all components of the purchased product, and the warranty period for them should not be less than the main product period. Exceptions to this may be established in regulations or in the contract.

The warranty period, as a general rule, begins from the moment when goods are delivered  to the buyer. But if the goods require special installation (connection) or assembly, the term begins from the date of such installation (connection) or assembly, and if this day can not be established or if the property was in consumer use before the sale contract - from the date of the sale contract.

Also remember that the warranty period extends to the time when the product was under warranty repair. The specified time is calculated from the day when the consumer applied for warranty repair. In case of exchanging goods warranty period is recalculated from the date of exchange.

It is also important to know that the warranty obligations in any case include any obligations of the manufacturer or seller, provided by advertising.

The expiration date is indicated on labels, packaging or other documents attached to the product at the time of sale, and is considered a warranty period. The expiration date, unlike the warranty period, is calculated from the date of manufacture, which is also indicated on the label or in other documents and is determined either by the time during which the product is fit for use or the date before  the product is fit for use. Products which expiration date is not indicated or indicated with violation of regulatory requirements, as well as products which expiration date has expired, is prohibited. The consumer has the right to make claims about the quality of the goods throughout the expiration date. If the product was sold to you after the deadline of expiration date, it must be returned and it is desirable to inform the consumer protection authority.

«The exchange onproper quality goods is carried out, if it was not used and if  product appearance, consumer properties, seals, labels are saved, as well as the settlement document which were given to the consumer with the sold products or it can be reproduced on the display of the software registrator of settlement operations. to which the software registrator of settlement operations is installed) QR-code, which allows the consumer to read and identify it with the settlement document according to the data structure contained in it, or sent an electronic settlement document to the subscriber number or e-mail address provided by the consumer.»
