KORG KROSS2-61 is a synthesizer workstation, an improved version of the Kross model released in 2013. The KORG KROSS2-61 differs from its predecessor quite significantly: it has more presets, a more user-friendly interface, and polyphony increased to 120 voices. In terms of functionality, the KORG KROSS 2-61 is also superior to the original product, as it boasts a built-in phrase sampler with 16 pads (they can be used not only to work with samples but also with a sequencer and recorder) and a USB audio interface. Similar to the original model, the updated Kross will come in two versions: 61-key (Kross 2-61) and 88-key (Kross 2-88). The former will be distinguished by its lighter weight, while the latter will have a higher quality hammer-action keyboard. Both versions will work both from the mains and from conventional "alkaline" batteries or Ni-MH batteries.

The sound quality of KORG synthesizers has been endorsed by top musicians around the world. The evolved KORG KROSS 2-61 expands polyphony from 80 to 120 voices and significantly increases the number of internal programs from 809 to 1075 programs. Including multi-layered pianos and electric pianos, thick strings and other new sounds that will work well with any band, as well as the latest drum kits for popular styles such as EDM. A wide range of programs covers your needs from live performance to studio production.

Built-in PCM expansion memory and support for additional libraries
The KORG KROSS 2-61 workstation now offers 128 MB of built-in PCM memory. By selecting from additional libraries to be released, you can expand the internal sounds of the KROSS 2 to meet the needs of your performance style or situation.

The rich expressive power of the EDS-i sound engine with a full range of effects
The high-quality EDS-i sound engine with advanced synthesis is inspired by KORG's professional synthesizers. You can use a total of seven effects units simultaneously: five presets and two masters. Rich expressive power is available through a selection of 134 high-quality effects, including standard effects such as delay and reverb, as well as amp simulations, vintage effect modules, and even a vocoder.

Great sampling function and pads
The KORG KROSS 2-61 is equipped with a unique sampling function that provides 16 playable pads. You can record the input signal from the LINE IN jack and assign a stereo countdown of up to 14 seconds to each pad. You can run up to four processes simultaneously. You can edit the sample signal with functions such as loop start/end point adjustment, normalization, and even resampling within the KROSS 2, allowing you to perform a wide range of sampling without requiring additional hardware. Long audio files from an SD card can also be assigned to these pads.

Direct access to the sounds and functions you need
Thanks to its user-friendly layout, the KORG KROSS 2-61 is very easy to work with. The synthesizer's panel has been improved since the first KROSS, ensuring that everyone can quickly access the sounds and functions they want from a huge range of options.

Real-time control section
The new Live Control Section allows you to directly control the main parameters of the KORG KROSS 2-61 without having to navigate through a menu hierarchy. In addition to real-time control of sounds and effects and simple program editing, you can use the knobs to easily control vocoder settings or adjust the tempo of the arpeggiator and sequencer.

Favorite function
The favorite function allows you to register frequently used programs and combinations and recall them with a single press, and has been expanded to allow 128 favorite presets, twice the number of the first generation KROSS. This feature is ideal for live performances that often call upon a specialized set of sounds on stage.
