Lebayle

Frederick LeBeil founded his workshop in 1987. The company's only products are mouthpieces for saxophones. They are handmade from ebonite, metal or wood. Frederic Lebeyle (born March 28, 1960), worked in his father’s workshop in France as a toolmaker. As an amateur saxophonist, he began to develop mouthpieces for himself, trying to reproduce the sound of Charlie Parker. In 1987, he founded his own business - a personal mouthpiece workshop in Lyon, France. Now his works are widely known around the world by the best musicians, including Chris Potter, Wayne Shorter, Branford Marsalis, Ron Blake, David Liebman, Ravi Coltrane, Marcus Strickland, Naji, Greg Osby, Jan Garbarek, Candy Dulfer and Igor Butman. The workshop is currently located in New York, USA. Country of origin producer France.
