Electro-Voice RE50L
The Electro-Voice RE50L is an omnidirectional dynamic microphone with special shockproof insulation designed for the most demanding professional applications. It was designed specifically for handheld broadcasting and sound reinforcement. All noise that occurs when working with a microphone, noise from clothing and even cord shocks are isolated from the microphone element, which significantly reduces the level of mechanical noise. Using a high-mass zinc internal acoustic chamber housed in a machined aluminum housing, the RE50L provides a degree of isolation unparalleled in an omnidirectional dynamic microphone. The internal converter uses its own mechanical nesting concept. Each part is nested within the other in such a way that the converter is an almost continuous structure. It is highly resistant to damage from impacts. The membrane is not affected by temperature changes and atmospheric conditions. The carefully designed integrated wind deflector provides superior protection against wind noise, excessive sibilance and annoying plosive sounds. The RE50L uses a grille that bounces back while maintaining its shape. The four-stage pop filter prevents dust and magnetic particles from entering the membrane. The RE50L's attractive, non-reflective, semi-gloss black finish is ideal for camera use.
