Shure Beta 27
The Shure Beta 27 is a condenser microphone with a super-cardioid response that is ideal for isolating unwanted ambient sounds. The frequency curve of the microphone is almost flat, only slightly modified for better transmission of transients. This makes the microphone great for recording electric guitars, hi-hats, overheads, brass or piano, but it also works well with kick drums or vocals. Its flat frequency response, low self-noise and superior workmanship ensure unmistakable accuracy in demanding performance and recording environments. The microphone uses gold-plated connectors and a diaphragm, a three-stage low-pass filter switch and a -15 dB attenuation switch. For recording vocals, the microphone has a built-in pop filter.
