The Dynacord VL262 two-way, full-range cabinet has been optimized acoustically and mechanically for multi-function applications. The variety of mounting accessories and good looks make the VL262 ideal for use in the most challenging environments. The body of the VL262 is made from birch plywood and is therefore extremely resistant to the elements of the road. The surface is painted with black two-component paint, which can be easily renewed if necessary. To reproduce low and mid frequencies, two DND 6130-16 neodymium drivers with ultra-low distortion are used. High frequencies are emitted by an HPT94 constant directivity rotating horn equipped with an Electro-Voice DH3 driver.

The VL262 can be used as a stand-alone general-purpose full-range cabinet or as a satellite or delay cabinet in larger systems. Professional halogen protectors and thermal circuit breakers protect components from short-term thermal overloads. The protection circuit has "soft" switching characteristics, so annoying clicks or pops are not heard. The circuit automatically resets once the voice coil temperature reaches a safe value. Ultra-durable acoustic foam mounted on a durable powder-coated steel grille protects speaker components from any mechanical damage. Recessed Speakon connectors ensure quiet operation of the VL262 in wall or ceiling mounting positions. Two M10 metric inserts on the sides can be used to attach the FBVL262 hanger. Two metric M10 inserts at the top and bottom are used to install the MB262UMH bracket. The four M6 metric inserts on the rear wall can be used to install conventional ball and socket wall mounting accessories.
