Every aspect of the Rega Planar 1 Plus turntable has been carefully designed to improve performance. The Planar 1 Plus uses a specially designed low-noise 24-volt synchronous motor to reduce vibration, combined with a hand-crafted RB110 tonearm featuring Rega's unique ultra-low friction bearings. The latest EBLT drive belt technology provides greater precision and improved speed performance.

Built-in phono preamp

A phono preamp is a pre-amplifier with high technical characteristics. It is designed to amplify the signal from the moving magnet cartridge to a level suitable for all line level inputs of the associated system or audio amplifier. This allows easy connection to a wide range of devices.

Tonearm

The all-new RB110 tonearm features new ultra-low friction bearings developed by Rega. New bias assembly and integrated clamp. Automatic offset adjustment eliminates the need for user adjustment of offset. Ergonomic head design for improved ease of use and improved appearance.

Cartridge

Rega Carbon cartridge supplied as standard.

Synchronous motor

Rega's first entry-level turntable to use a 24V AC synchronous motor with a new PCB and aluminum pulley, delivering low noise and better speed stability.

Finishing

An all-new finish, greatly improved appearance and an ergonomically positioned on/off switch located on the underside. The plinth is available in three stunning plinth finishes: matt black, matt white and walnut effect.

Bearing

Main bearing made of brass with improved fit and reduced load on the bearing itself, as well as minimizing the transfer of potential energy.

Disk

Heavy weight 23mm phenolic disc with improved flywheel effect for increased speed stability.

Insulation

The latest mount design improves stability and reduces vibration transmission.
