Drake is a Canadian rapper, singer, songwriter, music producer, actor and entrepreneur. Gained first recognition as an actor in the teen television series Degrassi: The Next Generation. In 2007, in order to continue making music, he left the project and released his debut mixtape Room for Improvement. Before he signed with Young Money Entertainment, he would release two more mixtapes: Comeback Season and So Far Gone.

The album "Views" is the fourth studio release by the Canadian rapper and singer Drake. It was released on April 29, 2016 by Cash Money Records, Republic Records and Young Money Entertainment. Views is influenced by West Indian and West African music. This album marked Drake's first full foray into Jamaican dance music, also incorporating a variety of genres such as R&B, trap, Afrobeat, UK funky and pop. Like his previous works, "Views" reflects themes of romance, betrayal and loyalty, as well as a celebration of friendship.
