Musician.ua condemns plagiarism in all its forms

The German company Berhinger recently announced a new product called Swing, which we think is a copy of KeyStep.

We believe that this product violates the rights of our long-term partner, and just our good friends, Arturia, including their intellectual property rights, which in turn will explain its legal position in the coming days.

Arturia has put a lot of effort into creating the Step line, invested time and money to develop, test and market KeyStep. And we, together with her, also preached this product, placed it in stores, explained, served. And now it is outrageous for us to observe how someone shamelessly uses the fruits of this work.

Of course, we embrace healthy competition, and we fully understand that Berhinger gives its own interpretation of a small and sane controller, as others have done. We have no problem with this, and in fair competition we see benefits for both customers and the industry as a whole.

But the competition here is not fair.

Musician.ua condemns plagiarism in any form, and officially refuses to sell Berhinger Swing in its stores.
