Strunal

Strunal continues in the tradition and especially deals with the production and sale of stringed musical instruments. In the range offers various types and sizes of violins, violas, cellos, double basses, guitars and accessories such as strings or bows. In the production program are represented almost all groups of string instruments. Strunal through its sales gains the representation on all continents of the world and exports its products to the 52 countries around the world. Currently, the company employs about 100 employees, who daily tries to satisfy requirements of even the most demanding customers.

Each year the company makes approximately 17000 guitars, almost 4000 violins, approximately 500 violas, 1000 cellos and double basses and more than 2000 bows and other accessories of musical instruments. Each of these instruments is manufactured in several models from cheaper school instruments through advanced instruments to high quality handmade concert instrument. For customers is certainly very interesting the wide size range of manufactured instruments from the full size 4/4 through smaller sizes 7/8, 3/4, 1/2 , to the small size 1/8 intended for the smallest musicians since the age of 4 years. But neither these small instruments don´t lag behind large models in the quality of sound and finishing, these small instruments allow fully and quality teaching games for children.

A substantial part of the company's production (approximately 95%) is for customers abroad. Among the most important territories are mainly USA, Canada, Russia, Mexico and Japan. Instruments made in our factory also find their customers on markets such an Iran, Oman, Lebanon and Sudan. Traditional craftsmanship of highly skilled professionals is a prerequisite for the increasing of confidence in Czech musical instruments. Guitars manufactured by our company are recommended to students by a Professor George Jirmal and by guitar virtuoso Stepan Rak, violins are recommended to students by a concert master Jaroslav Svěcený. Company Strunal next to the normal production represents and offers even the production of musical instruments in region, master instruments from the workshops of masters from Luby. These instruments find their customers among the renowned Czech and foreign artists, including James Třasák or Václav Hudeček.
