Armed with the Zoom U-22 ultracompact 2 x 2 USB Handy audio interface, it's easy for musicians, songwriters, and singers to record one source at a time to their computer, iPhone, or iPad. At home, outside, or while traveling, the U-22's user-friendly tactile controls and high-resolution 24-bit/96 kHz converters help you capture your creativity with quality. Plus, it comes with Ableton Live Lite and the Steinberg Cubasis LE iPad app to provide the software you need to take your music from inspiration to a finished production.

The U-22 features one low-noise microphone preamp with switchable phantom power and an XLR-1/4" combo jack, allowing it to handle a dynamic microphone, a condenser microphone, or a Hi-Z instrument such as a guitar or bass. A 3.5mm mini-jack input is also available for recording a stereo line input via a connected iPad, mixer, or other portable audio device. Thanks to zero-latency direct monitoring, RCA main outputs, and a 3.5mm headphone port, the U-22 can simultaneously feed speakers and headphones.
