New generation of Focusrite Scarlett now with Pro Tools

The company Focusrite has announced the release of an updated line of the most popular audio Scarlett line interfaces. While the number of inputs / outputs remain the same, the new generation of Focusrite Scarlett stuffed with a variety of improvements.

The line is represented by 6 interfaces, as well as two sets, ranging from simple Scarlett Solo with one mic preamp, 2 input / 2 output and finishing rack mount Scarlett 18i20 18 inputs / 20 outputs. The first thing that catches your eye - a new metal Gain knobs that complement the sleek metal body in red. New generation microphone amplifiers Scarlett has improved the gain structure, which will allow you to more accurately set the level, as well as instrumental input with improved design, which has a large range that enables you to record hot riffs. Focusrite improved analog circuit protection on inputs and outputs, interfaces protect against unwanted power surges. The range of sampling increased to 192 kHz.

Another of the improvements to the software side. Focusrite Scarlett 2nd generation will be supplied with software Avid Pro Tools® | First. In a set of Focusrite Creative Pack - exclusive free version of Pro Tools, an additional 12 plug-ins, including Eleven® Lite (emulation of real amplifiers for guitars) and Tape Echo (classic Delaey in the mix). Avid and Focusrite Company will continue its co-operation, so that each new version of Pro Tools to be compatible with the new interfaces, Scarlett.

Also in the kit software: Ableton Live Lite, Softube's Time and Tone bundle, Focusrite Red Plug-In Suite, 2GB of samples from Loopmasters.

Record Guitar and Vocals Simultaneously

Record your guitar and vocals at the same time, onto separate tracks. If one doesn't sound right, you won't have to re-record both. You can also apply separate effects: amp simulation to your guitar, for example, and reverb on your vocal.

Find the Perfect Level

Setting the perfect level couldn’t be easier, thanks to our signature halos around the gain knobs. They glow a reassuring shade of green when you’re recording at the perfect volume. If they turn red, it’s time to back off.
