The sE Electronics T2 condenser microphone is based on the body and performance of the acclaimed 4400a, but with a dedicated capsule from the original Titan that delivers full and impeccably balanced mids and lows, while a titanium capsule delivers ultra-detailed highs. The microphone is ideal for recording drums, including studio recording of drums and percussion, attacking guitar or bass, drumming piano and hip hop vocals. Moreover, it is ideal as a broadcasting microphone for spoken language. The T2 delivers flawlessly balanced highs for exceptional clarity without distortion or noise.

T2 has a handmade titanium-coated capsule. This is much stiffer than gold-plated capsules, which means faster transient response, which is important when recording instruments that create fast transients and attacks - such as drums and percussion - as it allows the microphone to maintain clarity and deliver exceptionally accurate response. The rigidity of this special diaphragm also allows it to withstand extremely high sound pressure levels, so it can easily handle the loudest impact.
